7 Days Combined Gorilla Tour
This is a 7 days combined gorilla tour to Rwanda and Uganda, where you will have two different gorilla trekking experiences in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda and one in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda. You will have a city tour in Kigali city and also visit Iby’iwacu cultural village. You will have a visit to the Batwa community in Uganda and then have a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park for chimpanzee trekking, night game drive and a boat cruise.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Kigali Airport and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, you will meet up with a guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. Before you head to Volcanoes National Park, you will first go for a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial, and then you will head for lunch at a hotel in Kigali.
You will then proceed to the Kandt house museum while on your Rwanda Tour, and after touring around it, you will head to Volcanoes National Park, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and visit to Iby’iwacu cultural village
On the second day of the tour, after an early morning breakfast, you will go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for a gorilla trek. You will have to meet a gorilla family that you will spend an hour with. Finding the gorilla family will take approximately 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on their location. After the gorilla trekking experience, you will return to the lodge and have lunch.
You will then be driven by a guide to the Iby’iwacu cultural village. You will meet and greet with the local people you will find at Iby’iwacu cultural village. You will be guided by the guides about the history and traditions of this place. You will be taught several things, like preparing Rwandese local dishes. You will also see how the Rwandese perform their traditional dance. You will then go back to the lodge and have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the third day of the tour, you will check out of the lodge in Volcanoes National Park after having breakfast. You will then be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive at the lodge, and you will check in. You will have lunch and you will relax. You will have dinner and then retire to bed

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
On the fourth day of the tour, you will have breakfast early in the morning, and then you will be briefed at the park headquarters. You will go for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will meet a gorilla family that you will spend an hour with. Finding the gorilla family will take you about 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on their location. You will then capture pictures and photos before heading back to the lodge.
You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will go to the Batwa cultural community. You will have an encounter with the locals that you will find there. You will get the information about their culture and traditions from them, and you will learn to prepare their local dishes. After entertaining you with their cultural dance, you will head back to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge, and you will retire to bed.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise
On the fifth day of the tour, you will have breakfast and then check out of the lodge. You will then be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will get to the park and check into a lodge. After checking in, you will have lunch and then relax.
After relaxation, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will sight several wildlife species, including birds and animals. You will get the opportunity to see the aquatic animals like the hippopotamuses and crocodiles. You will then be transferred back to the lodge, and you will have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking and a night game drive
On the sixth day of the tour, you will have breakfast and then go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will then go for chimpanzee trekking, which will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours to find the chimpanzees. You will have only one hour with the chimpanzees, and then you will get back to the lodge, and you will have your lunch meal.
You will relax at the lodge, and then in the evening, you will go for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go on a night game drive. The night game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park will enable you to see the nocturnal animals in this park, like the lions, leopards, hyenas, civets, serval cats and many more on this Uganda tour. You will then head back to the lodge, have dinner, and go to bed.

Day 7: Depart for Entebbe Airport
On the seventh day of the tour, after having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will then drive you to Entebbe Airport. You will have an enroute lunch and then proceed to the Airport for your flight.
