Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi and transfer to Masai Mara for an afternoon game drive
On day 1 of the 4 days Masai Mara and cultural safari, you will be met by a driver guide from Chopper Tour and Travel who will transfer you from a hotel in Nairobi and take you to Masai Mara. You will first interact with this guide, who will brief you after exchanging greetings. You will review the details of the safari and gain insight into its conduct. When you get to Masai Mara, you will check into one of the lodges that will be your choice and then you will settle in. You will then be served lunch and you get a transfer from the lodge to the headquarters by the guide
You will be briefed by the wardens about an afternoon game drive and how it will be carried out and then you will set off with a guide who will be responsible for giving you information about the wildlife species that you come across. The hours you will take while on this game drive will depend on the guide, but it takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. During the game drive, you will see various animals, including giraffes, gazelles, zebras, and many others. You will then get back to the lodge, and you will be served dinner. After that, go to bed and sleep.

Day 2: Full day game drive
On day 2 of the 4 days Masai Mara and cultural safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and then start the full day game drive at around 6am. You will get the opportunity to see the animals rise in the morning as the sun rises. During this time, the animals will be searching for food, and you will also have the chance to see birds. The game drive in the morning gives you the chance to see animals like the elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, elands and many more.
After that drive, you will have lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This game drive will also add more sightings of animal species, bird species, and landscapes in Masai Mara that you would have missed seeing in the morning. At sunset, after engaging in a full-day game drive, you will return to the lodge, where you will relax, have dinner, and go to bed.
Day 3: Morning game drive and a cultural tour
On day 3 of the 4 days Masai Mara and cultural safari, after having an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be briefed and then you will go for an early morning game drive when the animals are most active. You will spot several animals and also glimpse various bird species. The morning game drive in Masai Mara usually takes about 3 to 4 hours as you explore the park’s wildlife with the guide. You will return to the lodge and you will rest. You will be served lunch, and then you will go on a Kenya cultural tour.
You will visit the Maasai communities where you will conduct the Kenya cultural tour from and get to know about their traditions, culture and lifestyles. The Maasai communities will engage you in several activities while you learn about their community projects and how they manage their lifestyles. They will entertain you with their cultural dances before you return to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge, followed by a restful night.
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
On day 4 of the 4 days Masai Mara and cultural safari, you will have an early morning breakfast and then go for a briefing session with the guides on the guidelines to follow while on a morning game drive. You will then go for a morning game drive that will take about 3 to 4 hours as you have a glance at the numerous wildlife species in Masai Mara which include birds and animals. After the morning game drive, you will then head back to the lodge with the guide, have your lunch meal and then check out of the lodge.
The guide will then transfer you to Nairobi, where you will visit a local market, that is to say, the Maasai market. You will purchase some items like clothes, bags, crafts, pots, necklaces, earrings, and bangles if you pick up any interest in them at all. You will get some time to interact with these locals in this market and get to know how they handle their businesses. You will then head to the airport for a flight to the next destination.
