2 Days Mount Kilimanjaro Trek
This is a 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek that takes you to Tanzania Safaris for a short trip starting from a hotel in Arusha and also ending in Arusha. The 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek will begin with a transfer from a hotel in Arusha to Marangu Gate, where you will register before you start the hike to Mandara hut. You will go through the lush rainforests with eye-catching views of wildlife. The night will be spent at Mandara Hut, where you will proceed on Day 2 to Horombo Hut, and then you will descend back to Marangu Gate for your transfer to Arusha after receiving certificates of completion. The driver guide will either transfer you to a hotel in Arusha or to Kilimanjaro Airport.

Day 1: Pick up from Arusha and transfer to Marangu gate for a hike to Mandara hut
On the first day of the 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, at the hotel in Arusha, you will have an early morning breakfast and then a guide will link up with you at the hotel. When you meet, you will exchange greetings and they will get to know from the guide about the information of the 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek. After receiving the information, you will leave the lodge and set off for Marangu Gate. Once you arrive at Marangu Gate, you will receive a briefing. After getting the rules and guidelines to follow while hiking to Mandara Hut, you will then set off with a guide and a packed lunch.
While hiking to Mandara hut, which is 2700 metres above sea level, you will pass through lush rainforests and observe various sights and wildlife species. Depending on the levels of fitness, you will take about 3 to 4 hours to reach the Mandara hut. You will spot primates as you hike to Mandara Hut, and some of these primates will include black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and others. You will have your packed lunch and then head for a visit to the Maundi crater that also has several beautiful sights and rewarding views. After the whole-day experience, you will have dinner at the Mandara hut. You will spend the night at the Mandara hut following the dinner.

Day 2: Proceed from Mandara hut to Horombo hut and then descend from Horombo hut to Marangu gate
On the last day of the 2 days Mount Kilimanjaro trek, very early in the morning, you will have breakfast and then you will leave Mandara hut to start the trek to Horombo hut that will take you about 5 to 6 hours depending on your fitness levels, you will cross to the moorland zones with views of vegetation covers and landscapes. You will have the opportunity to see the Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Once you reach Horombo hut, you will receive lunch, after which you will return to Marangu gate.
You will start the journey back to Marangu Gate, as you have had a wonderful experience along the way. You will go through the various vegetation types and see birds, animals, like primates, and many more. Descend back to Marangu Gate. It will start at an altitude of about 3720 meters. The return trip will take approximately 6 hours and once you reach Marangu gate, you will acquire certificates of completion. The driver guide will then drive you back to Arusha and leave you at a hotel.
