Day 2: Full day wildlife Game Drive/Hot air balloon experience and afternoon game drive.
On your day 2 of the Tanzania safari after breakfast you will have an option of going for a hot air balloon experience (additional cost) with an afternoon game drive or a full day game drive.
Full day wildlife Game Drive: After breakfast, set off on a full-day Tanzania wildlife safari across the Serengeti plains with a packed lunch. This full-day experience allows you to explore deeper parts of the park and increases your chances of spotting a wide variety of animals. Expect to see large herds of wildebeest and zebra, big cats such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and other fascinating species like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, giraffes, jackals, mongooses, hyenas, and many more.
The Serengeti is also a birding paradise with over 500 bird species, including the ostrich, black eagles, and secretary birds. During the Great Migration (seasonal), witness over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles joining millions of wildebeests in their quest for fresh pastures. You will stop for a picnic lunch in the heart of the park and continue the drive into the late afternoon.
Hot air balloon experience and afternoon game: Begin the day early with a transfer to the balloon launch site. After a pre-flight briefing, ascend into the sky and float over the Serengeti at sunrise. The hot air balloon safari offers a once-in-a-lifetime aerial view of the park’s wildlife and landscapes. After landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast before returning to your lodge for rest. Later in the afternoon, embark on a classic game drive for more wildlife viewing before returning to your lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive – Departure to Arusha
After breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, which offers a unique opportunity to see nocturnal predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas as they return from their nightly hunts. This time of day is also ideal for spotting early-rising herbivores and enjoying the cool, golden morning light. After the game drive, return to your lodge for an early lunch and check out. Your driver will then begin the return journey to Arusha. Along the way, enjoy Tanzania’s picturesque countryside and scenic vistas.
