This is a 6 days budget-friendly camping safari that takes you to Tanzania’s national parks for a wildlife experience during game drives. This Tanzania safari will begin and end in Arusha. You will begin with a visit to Tarangire National Park to see the large herds of elephants and baobab trees. You will then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for views of the tree-climbing lions and flamingos.
You will have a game drive in Serengeti National Park for sights of the big five animals and the wildebeest migration. And finally, you will visit Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive to see wildlife including the big five, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles and many more.

Detailed Itinerary For The 6 Days Affordable Tanzania Camping Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After having breakfast at the hotel in Arusha, our company representative guide will meet and greet you at the hotel. You will go through the safari details, and then the guide will transfer you from the hotel to Tarangire National Park. You will be served lunch at the camp that you will check into upon arrival.
The guide will transfer you from the camp, and you will go for an afternoon game drive to search for the large herds of elephants and the unique baobab trees, as the key attractions in this area. You will spot other wildlife species and birds during the game drive. The morning game drive will start at around 6 pm and last for about 4 hours. You will be returned to the campfire dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Tarangire National Park
On day 2, you will have breakfast and a packed lunch at the camp. You will then conduct a full day game drive after the briefing. You will spot the wildlife and landscapes in Tarangire National Park as the sun rises in the morning. You will see the animals rise from their habitats as they roam in the park in search of what to eat. You will be returned to the camp for dinner and your night’s rest

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Manyara for an afternoon game drive
On day 3, you will have a morning breakfast, and then you will exit the camp. You will then head to the next destination with the guide. The guide will drive you to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will have lunch at the camp.
In the afternoon, you will have a game drive to see the tree-climbing lions that are popular residents in Lake Manyara National Park. You will also have the opportunity to spot several bird species since this park is a haven for a variety of birds. You will spot the pink flamingos, and after the game drive that will last for several hours, you will be returned to the camp, and you will relax. You will have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 4: Transfer to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon game drive
On day 4, you will have breakfast early in the morning, and then you will exit the camp. You will then meet the guide who will transfer you to Serengeti National Park. You will arrive and check into a camp for relaxing and lunch.
After lunch, you will conduct an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park in the cooler hours of the afternoon, which will enable you to spot a variety of wildlife. The game drive will take place till 6 pm. It will last for about 3 to 4 hours, and you will spot the wildebeest migration, in case it’s the time of the great migration. You will spot the big five animals during the game drive and also have views of the open plains. The guide will transfer you back to the camp for dinner and your night’s stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro for a crater drive
On day 5, after having breakfast, you will embark on the drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will arrive in the afternoon and check into a camp for lunch. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive.
The afternoon game drive will be done in the Ngorongoro Crater. The game drive will be conducted for 4 hours, and you will first be briefed before you descend into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to all the big five animals, and depending on your luck, you will be able to spot the rare black rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, lions, elephants and many other wildlife species. You will be able to spot the wildebeests, zebras and gazelles. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 6: Depart for Arusha
