Detailed itinerary of the 1 day Bwindi gorilla safari from Rwanda
For the 1 day Bwindi gorilla safari from Rwanda, you will wake up as early as 3am in the morning and have breakfast at the lodge in Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda. A representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will then meet you at the lodge, where you will exchange greetings and receive details about the Uganda safari from the guide. Your packed lunch awaits you before you embark on your journey to the Bwindi impenetrable national park.
You will cross the Katuna border, and after doing so, you will arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will receive a briefing at the park headquarters on how to trek. You will be given the guidelines to follow while on a gorilla trek and thereafter you will be allocated a ranger guide who will help you conduct the gorilla trek.
You will set off to the forest to find the gorillas, and you will be split into groups of no more than eight people who are supposed to meet a habituated gorilla family. As you search for the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park during a Uganda safari, you will encounter a variety of wildlife species, including birds, mammals, and various tree species. Depending on the gorillas’ location, it may take 30 minutes to 7 hours to find them. You will have an hour to spend with the gorillas once you have located them.

You will have the opportunity to observe their activities, such as how they feed, play, and engage in other behaviors. You will also have the opportunity to snap pictures of them. You will capture the pictures by adhering to the provided guidelines, which include taking shots without a flashlight to prevent any disruptions. After the one-hour experience with the gorillas, you will then head back to the park headquarters with the guide. You will then be transferred back to Rwanda by the guide and that will be the climax of the 1 day Bwindi gorilla safari from Rwanda.
