3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Trek
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is one of Uganda’s national parks that harbours almost half of the remaining gorilla population in the world. The 3 days Bwindi gorilla trek is one of the short Uganda safaris that one can engage in if he or she is interested in gorilla trekking. This safari will enable see the gorillas in their natural habitat and also get a cultural experience with the Batwa people. This safari will include a visit to Mpambire drum makers for a cultural experience and to learn how the drums are made. You will also have some time to take pictures at the equator monument in Kayabwe. Igongo Cultural Centre will be visited for lunch meals on day 1 and day 3 of the safari.

Day 1: Transfer from a hotel in Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 1 of the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trek, a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will link up with you at a hotel in Kampala, where you will exchange greetings and also get the information about the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trek. You will start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will take approximately 10 hours to get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover at the equator monument, where you will take pictures for memories and also visit the Mpambire drum makers. At Mpambire drum makers, you will learn how they make drums and also acquire knowledge about culture, among others
You will then proceed with the journey. The next stop will be at Igongo cultural centre, where you will have lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive in the evening and check into a hotel. After settling in, you will have dinner and then have your night’s rest.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
On day 2 of the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trek, very early in the morning, you will have breakfast. The guide will transfer you from the lodge to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will go for gorilla trekking to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with an armed ranger guide. You will spend one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat after searching for them. The time you spend trying to spot them depends on their location in the park. You will take approximately 30 minutes to 7 hours. You will have the opportunity to see how the gorillas feed, play, breastfeed their young ones and much more. You will take pictures with your flashlights off to avoid destruction. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge after the gorilla trek. You will have lunch and then you will rest.
You will be picked up from the lodge by the guide, and you will visit the Batwa people, where you will have a Batwa cultural experience. You will be taught a lot by the Batwa, like their ancient hunting and food-gathering skills. You will learn how the make their local dishes. You will see how they dance their cultural dance. You will head back to the lodge, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 3: Depart for Kampala
On day 3 of the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trek, you will be given breakfast at the lodge, and then after breakfast, you will check out of the lodge. You will begin the journey back to Kampala. You will have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Kampala. The guide will drop you at the hotel in Kampala, and that will be the end of the safari.
