Day 1: Arrival and flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival, you will be transported from the Entebbe International Airport to the domestic airport for a flight to Bwindi via Uganda’s southwestern landscapes, consisting of forests, hills, and farms. You will be met by your driver-guide at the airstrip close to Bwindi, then taken to your lodge. You can use the remainder of the day to settle down and prepare yourself for gorilla tracking.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Enjoying an early breakfast at the lodge, proceed to the park’s headquarters, where you will have a briefing by the park rangers who will accompany you during the search. It might take from thirty minutes to several hours to locate a habituated family of gorillas, depending on their movements on that particular day.
