This is a 4 Days gorilla trekking and Lake Mburo wildlife safari where you will visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for gorilla trekking and also have a visit to the Batwa community for a Uganda cultural tour. You will have a wildlife experience at Lake Mburo National Park, where you will have an afternoon boat cruise and a morning game drive.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from a hotel in Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up from a hotel in Kampala by a representative guide of Chopper Tour and Travel. You will first be told the details of the safari after exchanging greetings, and then the guide will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park will take approximately 10 hours. You will have a stopover at Kayabwe at the equator monument for pictures and souvenirs. You will proceed and stop at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch.
After lunch, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and check into a lodge when you arrive at the park in the evening. You will have dinner at the lodge, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
You will be served breakfast early in the morning at the lodge, and then the guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be allocated a gorilla family and be given a ranger guide to help you search for it. You will spend 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas. You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas, and after observing them, you will take photos of them, and then you will retire to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a cultural tour at the Batwa community. You will get details from the locals about the culture and traditions of the Batwa people, like their ancient hunting skills. You will then be driven back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park for an afternoon boat cruise
You will have breakfast at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will then check out of the lodge. The guide will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. You will check into a lodge when you get there. You will have lunch and rest at the lodge
You will have an afternoon boat cruise at Lake Mburo, which will start at around 3 pm. You will spend approximately 2 hours on the boat cruise on Lake Mburo. You will spot water animals, namely hippos and crocodiles. You will spot birds and other wildlife species. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer back to Kampala
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast at the lodge, and then you will be briefed at the park headquarters. You will go for a morning game drive lasting for about 4 hours. You will get the chance to see numerous wildlife species since it is the time when animals are active. You will spot animals like zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffalo and many more.
The guide will transfer you to the lodge for lunch, and then you will check out. After checking out, you will be transferred back to Kampala.
