5 Days Murchison And Kibale
A 5 Days Murchison and Kibale safari takes place in Uganda, particularly in Murchison falls national park where you get to see four of the big five animals and also see the rhinos at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. This Uganda safari involves a morning game drive in Murchison falls national park and a boat cruise at the bottom of the falls. In Kibale national park, you get to engage in a chimpanzee trek in Kibale forest and also have a swamp walk at Bigodi wetland. Before departing to Entebbe airport, you will also visit the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport and transfer to Murchison Falls national park
On the first day of the safari, you will meet with a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel at Entebbe airport and the guide will give you information about the 5 days in Murchison and Kibale. You will then set off to Murchison Falls national park. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will get the opportunity to see the rhinos that are sheltered at this place. After having some time with the rhinos, you will proceed with the journey and have another stopover in Masindi town for lunch.
You will proceed with the Journey to Murchison Falls national park after having lunch. You will reach Murchison Falls national park and you get a lodge and settle in. You will have dinner and then you will go to bed.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On the second day of the safari, you will be served breakfast and then you will be taken by the guide to the park headquarters. You will be briefed at the park headquarters about the rules and regulations to follow while on a morning game drive in Murchison falls national park. You will set off with a guide who will give you information about the animals that you will spot. You will spend about 3 hours while on the game drive, and some of the animals that you will see include the elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, warthogs, bushbucks, oribis and many more. You will be taken back to the lodge by the guide for lunch and relaxation.
After relaxing, you will head to the bottom of the falls for a boat cruise after being briefed at the park headquarters. You will conduct the boat cruise with a guide who will help you explore the wildlife in this park. You will spot some animals in water and others on the water banks. You will see animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and many more. After the boat cruise, you will return to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge and thereafter, you will head to bed and sleep.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale national park
On the third day of the safari, you will be served breakfast at the lodge and after completion of breakfast, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will pick you up from the lodge and drive you to Kibale National park. You will arrive and check in to a lodge. After settling in, you will be served lunch and then you relax. You will spend the rest of the day at the lodge and then you will be served dinner in the evening. You will then go to bed and sleep after dinner.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
On the fourth day of the safari, you will be served breakfast at the lodge and then you will head to the park headquarters for briefing. After going through the rules and regulations to follow while chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest, you will be given an armed ranger guide to accompany you. You will spend about 30 minutes to 4 hours searching for the chimpanzees depending on their location. You will, after spotting them, spend 1 hour with them in their habitats, observing how they play, interact, feed and much more. You will capture moments and then get back to the lodge.
You will be served lunch at the lodge and then you will relax after lunch. Later, you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk that will also expose you to many attractions in Kibale national park which include the primates, birds, vegetation and many more. You will be able to spot several bird species and primates and also have sights of the vegetation around this place. After the Bigodi swamp walk, the guide will transfer you back to the lodge where you will have dinner. After having dinner, you will then go to bed for the night rest.

Day 5: Depart to Entebbe airport
On the last day of the safari, you will be served breakfast at the lodge and then the guide will pick you up from the lodge after checking out. You will start the journey back to Entebbe airport with a stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch. You will have a visit to the Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves and get to know their cultural significance and the history of these caves. You will then proceed and arrive at Entebbe airport for your flight.
