Detailed 7 days visit Uganda itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & transfer to kibaale national park
On your arrival, you will meet our representative at the Entebbe airport. He will brief you about the 7 days visit to Queen. Kibale and Bunyonyi Uganda safari and after you will start your journey to kibaale national park that’s lasts about 5-6 hours.
While on your way, you will have some stopover to relax and buy some eats then continue with your journey, you drive straight to fort portal town for lunch then after you will en-route back to kibaale national park. You will arrive at the gate in the early evening, opt to visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, for nature walk were you will be able to see the different bird species, then check in lodges and dinner and overnight as you prepare for next morning activity.
Day 2: chimpanzee trekking & transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park
In the morning of the second day (7 days visit to Queen. Kibale and Bunyonyi), you will wake up, have your early breakfast, and meet your Uganda Tour guide / driver who will take you to the headquarters for briefing and expectations about the trekking in kibaale national park. The experience normally takes about 1-5 hours depending on the location of the primates, you’re advised to carry your own packed food since trekking experience takes about time in the forest. During the trekking you will be able to spot different primates which include; re-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus and bird species including; Green-breasted-pitta, great blue-turaco among others. After spotting them you will be given extra hour to be with, study them about their behaviors and way of feeding. And then later you will get out of the forest meet your driver again then drive back to the lodge.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
On the same day, after trekking you will meet your driver/ guide check out of the lodge then start your journey to queen Elizabeth national park which takes about 1–2-hour drive, explore the crater lakes of Kasese, pass by the Uganda Equator for the moment of pictures then proceed to the park arriving in the lake evening, check in lodge, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Game drive & kazinga channel boat cruise
On your 3rd day, you will wake up on your breakfast, meet your guide, and then start your morning game drive from the kasenyi plains to see the predators like lions and leopards which normally move in early mornings. Other animals can be seen like; elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, giraffes, warthogs and many others. After the game drive, you will drive to the park for lunch, relax and wait for another activity.
Kazinga channel boat cruise
In the afternoon, you will meet your guide/ driver to drop you at kazinga channel for bat cruise afternoon, where you will be able to spot different animals like crocodiles, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, and giraffes, antelopes, among others that normally graze near the water bodies in the afternoon and always move to the lakes for drinking water. During this boat cruise along kazinga channel, you can be able to see the beautiful water birds which may also include; Africa fish Eagle, Great white Pelican, pink-backed pelican, and yellow- billed stork among others. After you will be dropped back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lion trekking 7 transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On the 4th day, you will wake up early in the morning, meet your guide for lion trekking in Kasenyi plains, located in the northern of the queen Elizabeth national; park, this activity can be done i8n the early morning or afternoon, your guide will first brief you about the trekking lions and the expectations. During trekking you can be able to spot other animals along the way like elephants, buffaloes that normally graze in Kasenyi plains. After you will head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On the 4th day afternoon, you will check out of the park, start your journey to Lake Bunyonyi located in Kigezi region, with the view of beautiful sceneries, green hills, terraced farms and the picturesque valleys. Lake Bunyonyi is well known for its birdwatching and the beautiful sceneries of islands. On your way, you pass the big town known as kabale municipality. Then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi in rubanda district. As soon as you reach, you will check in the lodges, dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Relaxation & Activities at Lake Bunyonyi
In the morning, after your breakfast, you will take boat canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi to explore the 29 islands, during this activity, you will be able to spot the different birds which include; African Harriek-Hawk, Pied kingfisher, Hadad ibis, African fish eagle among others. After you can have some relaxation along the lake view the beautiful Kigezi region and the feeling the weather. Later in the evening you can have dinner and overnight with an option of camping.
Day 6: transfer to Kampala
On the 6th day, you will wake up on your breakfast at your lodge, check out and start your journey back to Kampala. On your journey back you will view the beautiful attractions like stone quarrying before Kabale town, then pass by the small’s towns along Kabale-Kampala highway. Then continue to Kampala. Your guide will drop you at your hotel in Kampala have dinner and overnight.
Day 7: city tour/ departure
On your last day of 7 days Queen. Kibale and Bunyonyi safari visit Uganda, you will wake on leisure breakfast at your hotel in Kampala then, meet your guide, and proceed to city tour in the city as you drive ahead to Entebbe express, for next flight at Entebbe international airport.
