Detailed 7-days visit Uganda 

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe—city tour

On your first day of the 7-day visit to Uganda, you will meet our representative at the airport, who will brief you on the 7-day visit to Uganda. Then he will drive you to the Uganda Wildlife Center in Entebbe, where you will observe some certain wildlife. After that, you will be taken to the botanical gardens for lunch and then proceed to Kampala for the Uganda tour. You will visit the Uganda Museum, where you will be able to see different ancient tools and traditional tools, and visit the Kasubi Tombs to see the tomb of the first king, where he was laid to rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

On your second day, you will wake up at your leisure for breakfast, then meet your Uganda wildlife safari driver, and then start your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, you will have a stopover at Luwero market, where you will have some relaxation and buy some fruits to have along the way. Then head to the Zziwa sanctuary for rhino tracking, which normally takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour. After tracking, you will be en route to Masindi town for lunch as you prepare to set off to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the early evening, and you can opt to visit the top of the falls, which gives an unforgettable experience to visitors. After top of the falls, you will be taken to check in lodges, dinner, and overnights

Day 3: Safari & Boat cruise on the Nile

On your 3rd day, you will wake up to your leisurely breakfast and meet your Uganda wildlife safari guide for the morning game drive. During your game drive, you will be able to see some animals like lions, leopards, elephants, elands, Jackson’s hartebeests, buffaloes, giraffes, and warthogs, among others. Then after the game drive, you will be taken back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch as you wait for the next activity.

BOAT CRUISE

In the afternoon, you will meet your driver again for a boat cruise. The boat cruise on Murchison Falls National Park, takes about 3-5 hours because of the water flows. During this boat cruise, you will be able to see these animals, like Nile crocodiles, hippos, elephants, giraffes, elands, Jackson’s hartebeests, and many others that normally graze near the lake during the hot days. During the boat cruise, you can also spot bird species like shoebills, African kingfishers, giant kingfishers, pied kingfishers, and African jacanas, among others that always appear on the Nile almost at the top of the falls. Afterward, you will be driven back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National Park

On your 4th day, you will wake up to your leisurely breakfast and meet your guide. And then start your journey to Kibaale National Park. This journey takes about a 5-hour drive to southwestern Uganda. Along the way, you will be able to see the plantation, beautiful scenery, and natural resources that attracted visitors’ attention and brought income to the company and the ministry at large. After you have lunch in Fort Portal town with the view of crater lakes, visit Amabere ganyinamwiru, and then drive to the Kibaale National Park, arriving in the late evening. Check in to the lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Chimpanzee trekking

The next morning, you will meet the Uganda tour guide, who will drive you to the headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing, rules and regulations, and expectations from the trekking. During this briefing, you will be advised to have a packed lunch since trekking normally takes hours in the deep forests, according to the location of the chimps. After spotting them, you will be given an extra hour to be with these primates and study their living standards. During the trekking, you will see other primates like red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white monkeys, blue monkeys, Lhotse’s monkeys, and bird species like black bee-eaters, great blue turacos, African pittas, and many others. Afterward, you will be taken back to have lunch and some relaxation.

Community visit

In the afternoon, you will meet your guide again to take you through the community work. During this community walk, you will be able to meet the people who welcome you with a smile and showcase their dances and cultures to visitors, and after you will be taken back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

On your 5th day, you will meet your guide after your breakfast, check out of the lodge, and then set off to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the Kasese District. On your way, you will pass Fort Portal town for lunch, visit the crater lakes and salt pans in Kasese, and then drive to the park in the early evening, where you will opt to do the game drive in Kasenyi Plains, observing the different wildlife which includes elephants, lions climbing, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, antelopes, Uganda kobs and others. After your small game drive, you will be taken to the lodge, check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 6: Lion tracking

On your 6th day, you will wake up and travel to Kasenyi Plains for lion tracking, which takes about 2-3 hours of driving. During the lion tracking, different wildlife can also be seen in the plains since they normally graze in them. After trekking, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. You can opt to do the second boat cruise or wait for dinner and stay overnight.

Day: Departure

On your last day, you will wake up, have your breakfast, check out of the lodge, then meet your guide and set off back to Kampala. Your guide will either drop you at your hotel or drop you at the airport for your next destination.
