Safari description of the 1 day Nairobi National Park City Safari
The safari starts very early in the morning. Our professional driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi, and before setting off, you will first be briefed about this Kenya safari. After the short briefing, you will drive to Nairobi National Park and enter the park as the sun rises. When you get to the park, you will have a morning game drive. Nairobi National Park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, and as you carry out the game drive, you may spot animals such as lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, antelopes and many bird species for bird watching. Your driver guide will aid you in spotting animals and explain details about the park and its ecosystems. You will also be allowed to capture photos
After the game drive, you will leave the park and head to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. Once you arrive, you will visit the elephant orphanage, where rescued baby elephants are cared for before being returned to the wild. You will watch the elephants during feeding time and learn their individual stories from the guides. Later, you will enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Giraffe Centre, a home to the endangered Rothschild giraffes. You will have the chance to see the giraffes and learn about conservation efforts in Kenya.
