Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Kigali
You will be picked up by our representative from Kigali airport, and the guide will transfer you to the Kigali genocide memorial for a visit, and then you will be transferred to Inema Arts centre, and you will head for lunch at a hotel in Kigali after visiting the two places. After lunch, you will head to Kimironko market, and after visiting this market and interacting with the locals in it, you will be transferred to a hotel in Kigali, where you will spend the night and have dinner.
Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park for a boat cruise
On day 2, you will have breakfast at the lodge and a guide will transfer you to Akagera National Park with an enroute lunch at a hotel. You will arrive at the park headquarters, you will be briefed, and then set off for a boat cruise at Lake Ihema. You will conduct this boat cruise while on a Rwanda safari after receiving a guide at the park headquarters, and a guide will accompany you. You will see numerous attractions, including the birds, animals and the vegetation. After the boat ride, you will head back to the park headquarters, get a lodge, refresh and then have dinner. You will then head to bed and have some rest.

Day 3: Morning game drive and a cultural tour
You will conduct an early morning game drive after you have had breakfast. You will first be briefed at the park headquarters, and then you will head for a morning game drive, and you will spot several wildlife, including the big five. After the game drive, which will also reward you with various sights of nature, you will head to the lodge for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, after the briefing, you will conduct a cultural tour, and you will get to know the culture of the Rwandese and their history from the locals. You will then be transferred to the lodge for dinner, and you will sleep.
Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walk
After breakfast at Akagera National Park, you will check out of the lodge and be transferred to Nyungwe National Park. You will have a stopover for lunch before you reach Nyungwe National Park.
When you get to Nyungwe National Park, you will conduct a canopy walk after a briefing at the park headquarters. You will conduct this activity at the suspended bridge that is 70m high and 160m long. This activity will take you about 2 hours, rewarding you with amazing views of the oar6and thereafter you will head to the park headquarters, get a lodge, settle in, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trek
On day 5 of the safari, you will have breakfast and head for a briefing with the guide to the park headquarters, and then you will set off for a chimpanzee trek at Nyungwe National Park. You will be given a guide, and you will have only one hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them after several hours of looking for them. You will be transferred to the lodge for lunch after the chimpanzee trek experience. You will spend your time after lunch relaxing.
In the late evening, you will head to bed after dinner.
Day 6: Transfer to Congo
On day 6, you will have breakfast at Nyungwe National Park, and you will embark on your journey to Congo after checking out of the lodge in Nyungwe National Park. You will have a stopover for lunch, and then proceed to Congo, where you will spend the night in a hotel, and at the hotel, you will be served dinner

Day 7: Lowland Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi Biega National Park
On day 7, you will have breakfast, and then you will go for a briefing at the park headquarters at Kahuzi Biega. You will then head for a Lowland gorilla trek with a guide, which will take you some hours to find them, and after finding them, you will stay with them for an hour, and you will then get transferred to the lodge for lunch, you will rest and then spend the remaining time of the day at the lodge. In the evening, you will have dinner and retire to bed.
Day 8: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On day 8, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and you will embark on your journey to Volcanoes National Park with the guide. You will have a stopover for lunch, and then you will proceed. When you reach Volcanoes National Park, you will check into a lodge, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 9: Gorilla trekking
On day 9 of the safari, you will have breakfast and then head for a briefing at the park headquarters before you set off for a gorilla trek. This trek may take you about 30 minutes to several hours, depending on the gorilla location, and when you see where they are, you will have an hour with them, and if you are in a group, it should exceed 8 people. You will then retire to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will stay at the lodge and relax from the activities you have been carrying out. You will then have dinner and retire to bed.
Day 10: Golden monkey trekking and depart to Kigali airport
At the climax of the safari, you will have an early morning breakfast, and you will be briefed before you head for a golden monkey trek. You will go with the guide, who will help in the search for these primates, and then you will stay with the golden monkeys for an hour when you see them after several hours of searching. You will then head to the lodge, have lunch and then check out.
A guide will then take you back to Kigali airport to get to your flight.
