This 4 Days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari leads you to one of the top-visited game parks for Uganda wildlife safaris. Queen Elizabeth National Park covers a total area of about 1978 square kilometres. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and managed by the UWA (Uganda Wildlife Authority). It is home to a biodiversity of wildlife, with over 95 mammals and around 600 bird species, among others. Animals to see include leopards, lions, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, oribis, hippos, and so many creatures. Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
You will start your Uganda safari with a pickup from your hotel in Kampala or at Entebbe Airport and be briefed about the safari. Then, start the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the western Uganda region, approximately a 5 to 6-hour drive from Kampala to access the main destination. Have a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe to allow you to enjoy photography and water experiments. Arriving in the afternoon, check into your lodge for refreshment.
Later on, you will go on an evening game drive at the Kasenyi plains to spot warthogs, buffaloes, lions, elephants, and small primates, among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Park View Safari Lodge – mid-range; Mweya Safari Lodge – luxury

Day 2: Morning Game drive and Boat cruise at the Kazinga channel
Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast as you get ready for the morning game drive. The morning game drive allows you to watch the early risers and nocturnal animals, such as leopards and lions, before going back to their hideout. You will also marvel at the beautiful savannah plains, crater lakes, swamps, rivers, and woodlands. Back to the lodge to relax and enjoy a hot lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on the boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you have a gainful view of wildlife as they gather to drink and bathe in one place. You will also come across various water birds feeding close to giant crocodiles, hippos, and elephants. Have dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge – Transfer to Ishasha for tree-climbing lions
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at the lodge, then be driven to the meeting point for a briefing about the chimp tracking rules and regulations. After the briefing, you will be accompanied by the ranger guide to lead you through the trails of the gorge to look out for chimpanzee individuals. On finding them, you will be given an hour to spend watching their way of life, feeding, playing, grooming their younger ones, and enjoying capturing videos. After, you will hike back to meet up with your driver guide to drive you back to the lodge, have lunch, and relax. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Morning game drive – Transfer to Kampala
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at leisure before embarking on the morning game drive in the Ishasha sector, where you will be able to spot the rare tree-climbing lions and other species like topis, elephants, and buffalo, among others. After the game drive, you will start the journey to Kampala with a picnic lunch at the Igongo Cultural Centre. Continue the journey to Kampala and arrive in the evening to be dropped off at your hotel or at any convenient place. End of the 4 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari.
