Detailed itinerary
A guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet up with you at a hotel in Kampala, where you will discuss the tour details. After going through the tour details, you will begin the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. The journey will take about 4 to 5 hours. Upon arrival, you will participate in a late morning game drive that will last for approximately 3 hours. You will have the chance to spot animals like lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes and many more. There will be views of birds, and then you will head to a designated place within the park for a picnic lunch.
After lunch, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The boat cruise at Lake Mburo will take place after the briefing, and you will have the company of a ranger guide. The guide will give you information about the wildlife species that you will encounter. You will spot animals like hippos, crocodiles and a variety of birds. After the boat cruise of approximately 2 hours, you will go back to the park headquarters, where you will set off from to return to Kampala. The journey will take approximately 4 to 5 hours with a stopover at Kayabwe at the equator monument for pictures. When you arrive in Kampala, you will be dropped off at a hotel. After dropping you at the hotel, that will be the end of the 1 day Lake Mburo National Park Tour.
