1 Day Rwanda Golden Monkey Trekking Safari
This is a 1 day Rwanda safari to Volcanoes National Park that will begin and end in Kigali. You will head to Volcanoes National Park, where you will interact with the golden monkeys for about one hour, and then you will get back to Kigali.
Detailed itinerary for the 1 day Rwanda golden monkey trekking safari
For the 1 day of this safari, you will meet and greet with a Chopper Tour and Travel representative guide who will transfer you to Volcanoes National Park. The drive will take approximately 2 hours, and upon arrival, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed by the park wardens about the Rwanda golden monkey trekking, and then you will be given an armed ranger guide to escort you.
You will trek for about 2 to 4 hours until you spot the golden monkeys. After finding them, you will have one hour with them, and then the guide will leave, and you will be able to observe how they feed, play, breastfeed and much more. You will have a moment to take pictures of the golden monkeys, and then you will head back to the park headquarters. You will meet with the driver guide to transfer you back to Kigali. You will have lunch at a hotel when you arrive in Kigali. After the lunch meal, you will be taken to Kigali Airport to catch your flight, or the guide will drop you at a hotel in Kigali.
