10 Days Rwanda Adventure
This is a 10 days Rwanda adventure that comes with a series of visits to numerous tourism destinations in Rwanda, which will include Kigali city, Akagera National Park, Nyungwe National Park, Lake Kivu, and Volcanoes National Park.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and tour in Kigali city
On the first day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, you will be greeted by a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel. The guide will take you on a tour of Kigali city, where you will visit places like Kimironko market. You will connect with the locals in this local market as they help you tour around and see the commodities that they sell. You will see several commodities designed in a Rwandese cultural style, and thereafter, you will proceed to a hotel in Kigali, and you will have lunch.
You will head to the Kigali genocide memorial after lunch, and you will gain awareness about the 1994 Rwanda genocide events. You will then check into a hotel in Kigali, where you will spend the night and dinner.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park for an after-boat cruise at Lake Ihema
On the second day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, after breakfast, you will leave the hotel in Kigali. You will start the journey to Akagera National Park. You will reach the park and check into a lodge, and settle in. You will be served lunch, and then you will head to Lake Ihema for a boat cruise
You will conduct a boat cruise at Lake Ihema, and you get the chance to spot hippos, crocodiles, several bird species and various ecosystems. You will get back to the lodge, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 3: Morning game drive and a nature walk
On the third day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, after having breakfast, you will go for a briefing and then head for a morning game drive in Akagera National Park. You will have sights of numerous wildlife species, and this will take about 3 to 4 hours. After the morning game drive, you will head back to the lodge, relax and after have lunch.
After relaxation, you will have a nature walk in the late afternoon, where you will tour around the park and get to see numerous birds, mammals and plant species in Akagera National Park. After the nature walk, you will head to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and then retire to bed.
Day 4: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walk
On the fourth day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, after having breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and then head to Nyungwe National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into a lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a canopy walk that will take approximately 2 hours. You will have numerous views of wildlife species as you conduct the canopy walk on the suspended bridge. You will return to the lodge you relax, and then have dinner. After dinner, you will go to bed and rest.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Lake Kivu
On the fifth day of the 10 Rwanda adventure, you will conduct a chimpanzee trek in Nyungwe forest after breakfast and a briefing while on your Rwanda Tour. You will trek for about 30 minutes to 4 hours looking for the chimpanzees, and after locating them, you will spend an hour with them. You will then head back to the lodge and have lunch.
After lunch, you will check out the lodge, meet the guide, and you will be transferred to Lake Kivu. You will check into a hotel, relax and then go to bed and sleep.
Day 6: Visit to Nyamirundi island and transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On the sixth day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, you will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will head to Lake Kivu for a boat ride to Nyamirundi island, where you will meet and interact with the locals that reside there. They will teach you about coffee as you tour the coffee plantations. You will learn how it is planted, harvested and processed. After, you will get back to the lodge and have lunch. After lunch, you will check out of the lodge, meet the guide and then set off to Volcanoes National Park.
You will drive to Volcanoes National Park, where you will check into a lodge when you get there, have dinner and retire to bed

Day 7: Gorilla trekking
On the seventh day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, you will have breakfast, receive your packed lunch at the lodge and then be briefed at the park headquarters. You will then conduct a gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park. You will be led by a ranger guide to carry out gorilla trekking. You will spend 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas, and you will have an hour with the gorillas. After the experience that you will have with the gorillas of sharing moments and taking photos, the guide will take you back to the lodge, relax and then we will be provided dinner. You will then retire to bed.
Day 8: Visit to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo
On the eighth day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, after an early morning breakfast, you will have a briefing session with the guides. After the briefing, you will head for a visit to the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo. This will be a wonderful visit, exposing you to the variety of attractions at these twin lakes. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation.
In the evening, you will have dinner and then you retire to bed.
Day 9: Golden monkey trekking and hike to Dian Fossey Tomb
On the 9th day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, you will have breakfast and then head to the headquarters of the park for a briefing. After the briefing, you will conduct a golden monkey trek, and this activity will take approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours of searching for the golden monkeys. You will have one hour with the golden monkeys, observe them and take pictures of them. The guide will then return you to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will have a hike to Dian Fossey’s Tomb, and here, you will see the Tomb of Dian Fossey and other graves of the gorillas. You will learn some details about the gorillas, and then you will return to the lodge, have dinner and go to bed.
Day 10: Transfer back to Kigali airport
On the last day of the 10 days Rwanda adventure, after having breakfast in Volcanoes National Park at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will connect with you and transfer you back to Kigali, where you will have lunch at a hotel. After having lunch, the guide will drive you to Kigali airport.
