Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked up by a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel on the first day of the safari from Entebbe Airport. The guide will then drive you to Kibale National Park. You will have amazing views of the landscapes and beautiful scenery on your way to Kibale National Park. You will have a stopover in Fort Portal town, where you will have lunch at a hotel.
You will then proceed to Kibale National Park, where you will check into a lodge upon arrival. You will relax, have dinner, and then retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
At Kibale National Park, you will have an early morning breakfast at the lodge, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then go for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest. You will take approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours to spot the chimpanzees. You will spend one hour with them, and then you will be transferred back to the lodge
You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk with the guide, which will expose you to the various wildlife species there and the beautiful landscapes. You will then go back to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise
After having breakfast on the third day of the adventure, you will check out of the lodge, and then you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive, check into a lodge and have lunch. You will then go for an afternoon boat cruise.
The boat cruise will take place at the Kazinga channel. The boat cruise will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will spot the crocodiles and hippos. You will enjoy the wonderful sights at this channel, and then you will go back to the lodge, relax and then have dinner. You will then retire to bed.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After having an early morning breakfast, you will go for a briefing and then have an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You will spot several birds and animals while on the morning game drive, and then you will go back to the lodge. You will have lunch at the lodge, and then you will check out.
You will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking and Batwa cultural experience
On day 5 of the adventure, you will have breakfast and then be briefed at the park headquarters. You will then go for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you will get the chance to meet a gorilla family and get to share moments with the gorillas. You will spend 1 hour with them, and then you will get back to the lodge.
You will have lunch and then relax. After relaxation, you will go for a Batwa cultural experience where you will meet the Batwa who will tell you more about their history, culture and traditions. You will then go back to the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 6: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
On day 6 of the adventure, you will have breakfast and then leave the lodge with your luggage. The guide will then drive you to Volcanoes National Park. You will cross the Cyanika border to get to Rwanda. You will arrive at the lodge and check in, and have lunch.
You will relax at the lodge, and then in the evening you will have dinner. After dinner, you will retire to bed.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking
On day 7 of the adventure, you will have breakfast and then receive your packed lunch at the lodge. You will then go for a briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will then start the gorilla trek. You will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours trying to spot the gorillas. After finding them, you will have 1 hour with them.
You will then be taken back to the lodge, you relax, freshen up, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 8: Golden monkey trekking and visit to Iby’iwacu cultural village
After having breakfast, you will go for a briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will go for a golden monkey trek, where you will spend 1 hour with the golden monkeys after spotting them. You will then go back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
You will have a visit to Iby’iwacu cultural village, and you will be able to have a cultural experience while at Iby’iwacu cultural village. After interacting with the locals and learning numerous things related to culture and tradition from them, you will return to the lodge. You will have dinner and then retire to bed.

Day 9: Depart for Kigali airport
On the last day of the adventure, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and the guide will transfer you to Kigali Airport. If time is on your side, you will have a visit to the Kimironko market.
