Detailed Itinerary.

Day 1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park.

You will board a morning 1-hour luxury flight with AeroLink Uganda from Entebbe to Pakuba Airstrip while enjoying the perfect views from above.

Once you land in Murchison Falls National Park, you will be transferred to your luxury lodge with an en route game experience, check in, and enjoy lunch. After lunch, go for an afternoon private 4×4 game drive to spot lions, elephants, Rothschild’s giraffes, leopards, and many bird species.

Day 2: Nile Delta cruise and enjoying the world’s most powerful waterfall at Murchison Falls National Park.

After your hearty breakfast in the morning, you will go for a morning boat cruise down the River Nile to see hippos, massive crocodiles, and the rare Shoebill stork alongside other waterbird species.

In the afternoon, you will hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the entire Nile crashes through a tiny 7-meter gorge with beautiful spotting. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Fly to Kibale Forest National Park.

Get up early in the morning and have breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip to catch a morning flight from Pakuba to Kasese Airstrip to transfer to Kibale with aerial views of the tea plantations of Kibale Forest National Park.

Upon arrival, check into your lodge and enjoy lunch. You will go on the guided boardwalk trek through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary to see 8 species of primates and exotic birds that will offer you unforgettable safari memories. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your morning breakfast, check out and meet your safari driver, then drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules and regulations for chimpanzee trekking. This takes about 30 minutes to 2 hours. Once the chimpanzees are found, spend one hour in their presence that is watching them feed, breastfeed, hunt, groom, and do other things.

After taking a quick, afternoon, 30-minute flight from Kasese to Kihihi Airstrip, drive straight into the misty Bwindi rainforest. Upon arrival, check in to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After your early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about mountain gorilla trekking. After the briefing, enter Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with expert trackers and start looking for the gorillas; this takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas because these creatures like moving from place to place while looking for food.

Once the gorillas are located, spend one unforgettable hour standing just metres from a mountain gorilla family, watching the mother gorillas grooming the young ones, hunting, feeding and playing, and others taking their pictures and recording their videos with low- or no-flash cameras. After one hour, trek back to the starting point and be awarded a gorilla-trekking certificate. In the evening, celebrate your trek with an evening fireside dinner and traditional African songs. Dinner and overnight stay.

Take a relaxed morning breakfast, meet your safari guide, and then go for a guided nature forest walk to the Bwindi waterfalls; later in the afternoon, you will experience a cultural tour with the indigenous Batwa community, interacting with them, enjoying their dances and songs, and then later enjoying a spa treatment. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Fly back to Entebbe.

After your breakfast, check out and then transfer to board your morning return flight from Kihihi back to Entebbe International Airport (EBB). Arrive in Entebbe by midday, perfectly timed for your evening international flight home that brings your 7 Days fly-in Uganda safari to an end.

Things to Consider.

Strict Duffel Bag Limits: Internal bush planes enforce a rigid 15 kg (33 lbs) weight limit per person. Your luggage must be soft-sided; hard suitcases are physically too large to fit in the aircraft’s small cargo holds. Lodges offer quick laundry services to help you pack light.

High Permit Requirements: You need two separate primate permits secured well in advance. Gorilla trekking permits cost US$800 per person, and chimpanzee tracking permits cost US$250 per person as of 2026. These sell out up to a year ahead during high seasons.
