This is a 3 days Uganda chimpanzee trek that takes you for chimpanzee trekking in Kibale National park in Uganda, where you get the opportunity to stay with the chimpanzees for one hour in their natural habitat. Kibale National Park is also known as the primate capital because it houses several primate species. Kibale National Park shelters over 13 primate species. The 3 days Uganda chimpanzee tour also grants you the chance to conduct a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp, granting you views of several bird species and other wildlife species.

Detailed Itinerary For A 3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport and transfer to Kibale National park
On the first day of the 3 days Uganda chimpanzee tour, you will meet with a representative guide from Chopper Tour and Travel at Entebbe airport and you will be transferred to Kibale national park. You will stop at the equator monument to take pictures before proceeding to Kibale National Park, where you will have a lunch stop at a hotel and then continue on to arrive in the evening. You will check into the lodge at Kibale national park and then you will have dinner. You will then retire to bed for your night rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
On the second day of the 3 days Uganda chimpanzee tour, you will have breakfast at the lodge in Kibale national park and then head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park wardens. You will receive guidelines to follow during the chimpanzee trek while on a Uganda tour, and then you will embark on the trek accompanied by an armed ranger guide. You will spend approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours searching for the chimpanzees, and once you find them, you will spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will take pictures according to the guidelines provided, and afterward, the guide will escort you back to the lodge for lunch.
After having lunch at the lodge in Kibale National park, you will relax for a while, and then you will go for a Bigodi swamp walk with a guide to lead the way. While at Bigodi wetland, you will be able to sight several birds, primates, landscapes and several beautiful sights. The guide will drive you back to the lodge, where you will have dinner before going to bed.

Day 3: Transfer back to Entebbe airport
On the third day of the 3 days Uganda chimpanzee tour, you will have breakfast and then the guide will meet you at the lodge after checking out. You will then start the journey back to Kampala with an enroute lunch. After that, you’ll be driven back to the Entebbe airport in time for your flight.
