Our 4 Day Uganda Luxury Gorilla Safari tour package leads you to a Bwindi Impenetrable National Park a perfect place to encounter these gentle giants. Bwindi National Park is located in southwestern Uganda and home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas approximately 650 individuals of the total of 1100 mountain gorillas, currently. Depending of the availability of gorilla permits at the time of confirmation, you may trek in one of the four gorilla trekking sector namely Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga or Nkuringo. After a visit to Bwindi, drive to Lake Bunyonyi after the trip to relax and also engage in recreational activities around the Lake. This tour starts and ends in Kigali /Entebbe.

4 Days Gorilla Luxury Safari Fly in -Kihihi Airstrip
Day 1: Pick up Entebbe Airport
Pick up Entebbe Airport: Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your will be welcomed by a professional driver guide who will help you in your flight depart a domestic flight to Bwindi impenetrable national park. Daily flights operated by Aero link Uganda depart Entebbe airport to Kihihi airstrip at 1030am hours arrive in Kihihi airstrip at 1145hours
Upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will meet up with our safari driver guide and transfer to your booked lodge (2hours drive). Arrive check in and have rest as you wait for the next day activity. Have lunch and overstay at Buhoma Lodge – Luxury, Buhoma Haven Lodge – Mid range

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Gorilla Trekking: After an early breakfast on the second day of the 4 days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda from Kigali, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species such as l’hoest monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, different plant species, birds among others. Once the mountain gorillas are found you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their habits, behaviors, watch gorillas feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home after the safari.
After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your driver guide to drive you back to the lodge. Have dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxing and Recreational Activities
After an early morning breakfast, check out of the lodge in Bwindi and drive to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale district. Lake Bunyonyi is known for its beautiful nature and best place to relax after your gorilla trek. Arrive at a beautiful Hotel – Bird nest resort on Lake Bunyonyi. After lunch, go for an optional activity around the lake such as canoe rides and nature walk, then later dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Fly Back to Entebbe Airport /Drive to Kigali
After breakfast, you will drive back to Kigali or Airport for your flight out of Rwanda. Or fly back to Entebbe International Airport. Flights depart Kihihi airstrip 14:30 hours and arrive in Entebbe 1615 hours for your scheduled flight departure or be dropped to any place of your choice/hotel.
